I am hearing that Michigan is already shopping for a judge to stay the ban... probably happens before tomorrows game at Penn State... slimy little weasel. Quote

TheWatShot Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 PSU scores with 2 minutes left to cut the lead to 9. Two-point try fails and they're still down two scores. That's why you don't go for 2 until after the second TD. It always amazes me how many people, coaches included, don't seem to grasp this. Quote
DChoosier Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 I normally don’t root for Rutgers but I’d like them to beat Iowa to further prove what a joke the BT West is. Quote
KingPG21 Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Watching the Washington-Utah game. Hearing any pro-Harbaugh comments makes me so annoyed. Their halftime coverage painted Michigan as victims and championed Harbaugh coached teams. Victimizing and championing cheaters just feels weird to me. Just to be clear. I have no animosity towards the players. Screw their leadership tho Quote
KingPG21 Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 I will never, understand dropping the ball before you get into the end zone. Why even risk it??? Just make sure you have it a couple yards into the end zone. You can still celebrate. IUHoosierJoe 1 Quote
LamarCheeks Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 Washington's gonna survive -- 35-28 over Utah. Nobody is happer than that idiot who intercepted the pass, ran it back 80 yards, then in a too-early celebration, dropped it at the 2-yard line for Utah to recover. Kalen DeBoer is now 100-11 as a head coach. Granted 70 of those games -- and 67 wins -- were in NAIA. Still, he's 33-8 in the FBS. Hard to believe he was our OC a few years back. KingPG21 Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 Soooo can someone explain the logic of a program reclassifying and therefore they are ineligible for a bowl for 2 years like James Madison is this year? It doesn't do anything but punish upper classmen because reasons??? Quote
Hovadipo Posted November 12, 2023 Author Posted November 12, 2023 Blame Marshall around the Randy Moss era. Tried 1-AA to 1-A back down to 1-AA. Quote

They will end up paying that dude almost 120mil to go 45-25 after firing Kevin Sumlin for going 51-26. And no offsets for future earnings. He gets it all. Unbelievable. Short of a Sampson-level incineration of a program, is that as bad a hire as there’s been in recent years? Hovadipo, lillurk and thebigweave 3 Quote

In per-dollar terms, it’s very bad. I understand it’s a demanding job, continuity matters, there’s a market salary rate…but short of like Nick Saban, at some point you’re just throwing money away instead of saving $2M/year and taking the next guy on your list. The other hilarious thing about A&M: this is what they are! Like look. Two titles: 1919 and 1939. 18 conference championships in 121 years of football. It’s vaguely like if Wyoming or La Salle or Holy Cross or someone with one ancient hoops title was pretending their whole history was as a power and not just an occasionally good program Demo and Home Jersey 2 Quote
