And apparently for even more than OSU is getting. Is there really a positive ROI from a patch on a football jersey that your forking out close to 20 mil/year for? Quote

Pagoda Posted yesterday at 10:20 PM Posted yesterday at 10:20 PM Marketing is weird. I’m not a marketing guy. But big time programs are playing games with huge TV ratings. A sponsor’s logo will be all over the screen for two hours and that’s a lot of “impressions” for the money. IU got huge ratings last year and we should continue to be good. I’d like to see Scott get us a lucrative jersey sponsor. Jeff Flabjohns, Stuhoo, str8baller and 1 other 4 Quote

According to the lawsuit filed Monday in the Circuit Court of Lafayette County in Oxford, Mississippi, the Rebels are seeking $550,000 from former defensive end Princewill Umanmielen and $400,000 from former guard Devin Harper, plus attorneys' fees and court costs, in a breach of contract complaint. I know that football is the main reason for the amount of money, but from what I read, it will be on jerseys for all the sports in the department. I wonder who IU could end up with because you know that have to be looking at a few now. Quote
Lebowski Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Big Ten commissioner Tony Petitti said there won't be a championship game if there's a 24 team playoff. I'm an advocate for a 24 team playoff system but I'm also an advocate for Indianapolis hosting the Big Ten championship game. Quote

And for what it's worth, would be about as clean of a logo as you could ask for. Some of these things look gross aesthetically. Home Jersey, Pagoda and jermhoosierfan 2 1 Quote

AKHoosier Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I'm holding out hope that sponsorship patches mean there's something in it for the fan, specifically less commercial breaks. But we all know there is no chance of that happening. str8baller 1 Quote
