I understand that, but I was thinking along the lines of who?

Maybe Curtis Jones? I am not totally sold on CJ yet. I thought he showed some of the same problems at HH that he displayed last year. If Al proves his worth and starts to take mins from CJ, I could see him transferring.

Could Juwan go Pro, only time will show.

I really think DD has a lot to prove this year and don't see him going yet, unless he just absolutely dominates this year.

I hope Phinese stays no matter what, we need that 4 year PG that holds down the fort.

I'm not really sure what is going to happen, just wanted to see if anyone else is thinking the same way I do.

I've no doubt Phinisee was very aware of Archie's recruiting targets and the implications before he verbaled.  These kids, their parents, coaches, etc., are every bit aware of recruiting targets and the potential competition they may face and especially so if they pay any attention at all to btb!

Yes he talked to RP about it. DG was always option #1. If no one leaves someone will have to be low man on totem pole. Having a 4 year PG is not as big deal some think. Trey Galloway was on campus on Monday another PG who we would love to have.

Regardless of who their number option is IU is going to continue to recruit the top talented point guards or any position in the upcoming class. It’s the players that are signed or in the program now to continue to improve and make an impact. If Garland signed and Anthony wanted to come to IU they would make it work. Also the forgotten low ranked recruit sometimes turns out to be the headliner of the class. Frank mason and Devonte graham were not the headliners if their respected classes at Kansas. Those 2 turned out great for Kansas

I feel better about these recruitments than before, but most top players that haven't committed look to commit/sign towards the end of the period. I would look to the last week imo.

With all of the steam that seems to be building with DG and Romeo, if they do indeed both sign, how do any of you think the scholarship situation works out?

Doubt this happens, but since Romeo is most likely one and done, someone could volunteer to give up a scholarship and then when he gets drafted they can receive it back. There’s been a few instances at some other programs recently where this has happened.
