This leads me to think that no one really knows and we can just wait until Darius reveals his choice. If Meyer isn't hearing, that probably means the schools aren't sure. Both think they've got a shot.

A lot of people will be quite happy if IU misses on these recruits. A LOT. Looks like you are one of them.

He's literally, literally the most negative poster on IU boards. I have no idea why you would ever want to live life that negative.

Let's go through a couple of things- we find out today that Darius has known which school he has wanted to go to for a few weeks. Two weeks ago. rabjohns receives intel that causes him to go down to Vanderbilt and speak with Darius and his family. Darius proceeds to give what in my mind was a very pro IU interview. Rabjohns goes down there again this week and speaks with Darius and his family. 
Did the Garlands string Rabjohns along or is there legitimate smoke there indicating Darius will go to IU? The Garlands are close to Rabjohns so I doubt they were playing him for the fool.

The whole writing out the pros and cons thing really sounds beneficial to IU. I️ don’t see how you could make a list that would end up with Vandy looking better than IU. It’s small, but I️ think it shows that the family is really trying to do what is best for Darius.

And I'm not negative about Archie Miller at all.  I've said before that I wouldn't trade him for another coach in the world outside of Stevens and that won't change even if we whiff on both Garland and Romeo.   We're in for some great basketball ahead. I'm just tired of hearing such and such is going to happen, "done deal", etc from our supposed insiders and then it never ever happening.  I won't be duped anymore.

You basically said it's over for 2018. You say vandy goes 3 for 3. I say they go 0 for 3.

Point me to who said Garland was a done deal (Hoosier guy doesn't count).

The day Jerry Meyer flipped his pick and the momentum was sky high at that point. Several "sources" started indicating it was a done deal to the point the recruit himself had to declare that he hadn't committed anywhere.
