No clue, but I find it interesting that he's going to their version of Hoosier Hysteria for his official, while we're an unofficial. I'm guessing that that is cost related. It's easy/cheap to make a quick trip up to Bloomington as opposed to UNC. Anyway, I like that we're gonna get him on campus twice and have the chance to roll out the red carpet for him. lillurk, HoosierAloha and Iugradman 3 Quote

Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Smart move going to see Romeo with his Vandy in home. Just go ahead and make it official Romeo and stop making these other coaches waste their time. :) ebridges24, ALASKA HOOSIER, Crimson and Cream and 1 other 4 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Romeo's HS school, Jim Shannon, on with Kent Sterling today. 13" clip. Stressed that Romeo's parents are controlling his recruitment process. Also discussed the back problems Romeo had earlier this summer but believes they've been overcome. http://kentsterling.com/2017/09/11/new-albany-coach-jim-shannon-talks-opening-of-recruiting-season-for-romeo-langford-iubb/ Alford Bailey and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote
Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 I have said for awhile but a 3rd school will emerge in the Romeo sweepstakes to make us sweat even more. UNC, UK(not likely) or Vandy has been my guess but I just think he is tired of everyone just assuming he is going to U of L or IU. I believe whether serious or not it gets thrown out there as a curveball. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

We are losing a ton and none of the 2018 recruits seem like immediate impact players. Maybe hunter we need a 5 star imo.Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk Hoosierfan2017 and Iugradman 2 Quote

If Romeo and Garland truly want to play together, it's not far fetched for Vanderbilt at all. No matter the case, I still think Romeo to IU ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

For the longest time I have assumed we wouldn't get him. Sitting here in the final 7 speaks volumes of the progress Archie has made. I am a New Albany resident and graduated from New Albany High school. Nothing would make me happier than to see him go to IU.
