The big bad IU boogie man fanbase... gets so overblown.....the truth is that if Romeo were to have committed to Vandy during the season, he wouldn’t be hearing NEARLY as many boos as he’d be hearing crickets. The Indiana fans wouldn’t have showed up. I remember so many players who chose other schools before or during their senior campaigns... May, Lyle, Lyles, Thomas, etc. etc...... the fans just stopped caring. tortex28, Btownclouds, WayneFleekHoosier and 15 others 17 1 Quote

coonhounds Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 I agree. Winning is the only cure. We’ve dug ourselves into a hole as a program. Climbing back to relevancy (nationally) is going to be a long and hard one.Personal prediction is we take a huge step towards that next year and beyond. Just my guess but i like what i am seeing from our coachSent from my SM-G920V using BtownBanners mobile app GloryDays, Stuhoo and IUBBFan1970 3 Quote

I’ve been to Wilkes,Guy, Lyles(after he decommitted mind you), and romeos games sophomore and junior years(when IU wasnt even an option) and while I saw IU fans in the stands with their IU gear on like myself none of those kids got booed by the IU fans only by the opposite student section. Indiana basketball fans are mostly Indiana high school basketball fans as well so the gyms were still packed GloryDays, IUsafety, HoosierTrav and 3 others 6 Quote

I have no clue where he is going but the confirmation bias (accurate for this thread) has shifted daily now. But hey if you shout something loud enough, long enough it becomes true. Popular Post BGVille Hoosierfan Posted February 20, 2018 Popular Post Posted February 20, 2018 Just spoke with a guy whose son plays at Warren Central and knows Aaron Henry pretty well and said that Archie met with him 2 weeks ago and word is that he's decommitting from MSU in the midst of all that is going on and will be coming to Bloomington next year. He said the writing isn't completely on the wall but that speaks volume about what Archie thinks our chances are to land Romeo...if true of course. Looks like Archie has a solid backup plan in place.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners ThompsonHoosier, Bobman1, thebigweave and 9 others 12 Quote
