Beowulf50 Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Actually, no. Your grammar is not correct. You should have had some form of punctuation after "here," "man," and "correct." Also, use of "ok" in a sentence is incorrect. It's "okay" in word form. But who's judging you? You asked, after all. Amazingly, your spelling was pretty good! Congratulations! Funny how you don't live here, but find time to post 560 times (only about 60 less than me) and seem to always throw in little insults, but never reply when you're called out. Like I said, go stalk somebody else and get back to this wonderful life of yours. And yes. You were wrong. Both about OG as a high school kid and about my participation in the thread about him. Anything else? You are Awesome! I'm done. e Quote
Yogi'sBicep Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 It's a loss. Deal. Bad? Yup. Over and back call? Not even close. Travel on Bryant? Your behind. Turnovers? Horrible. Jump ship? NEVER. I'm in this foxhole until the end. Who's with me? hooah pappy1865 1 Quote

hoosha61 Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Flat performance and disappointing loss. Colin reminds me more and more of Austin E. Rojo has fallen off greatly. It's time to accept that TW is not very good. The VO like progression that we were all hoping for will never happen. I understand TB frustration but acting like a spoiled brat is not a good look. I like CTC but I have finally accepted that he is not capable of returning IU to elite status. I feel like the current regimes goal is to make the tourney, this is Indiana! I'm surprised so many people think we will beat Iowa, I think it's very possible we get embarrassed. My support of iubb will never wain, but I'm really bummed right now. Go Hoosiers! pumpfake, Trish, Alford Bailey and 2 others 5 Quote
Scooter D Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 This is a really bad loss but I disagree with tying this loss to the Maui losses. Team is a lot different. The tournament committee will not make that distinction. Quote
yogisballin Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 I'm still saying no way we finish 12-6. I just don't see 3 more games im confident this team will win. I'm not terribly upset with this one. Throughout the early part of the day yesterday I was setting myself up mentally for this kind of finish last night. Saw other ranked teams go down on the road yesterday UNC, Oklahoma, and Wichita St. It's going to happen. Should we have lost to PSU? Hell no! On to the next one Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 After the fantastic game against Michigan I made the audacious statement that perhaps that game was a kick to the crotch of our typical season ending swoon. Naturalhoosier Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 This is my first post since returning from the game (got in about 1:30 am this morning and went to bed). The team looked completely out of sync all night long. The first or second offense possession of the game was a two on one (Yogi and TW), and Yogi tries to dump to Troy, but he had hesitated a split too long and TW was already going up for the put-back. The ball bounced off of Troy's knees and out of bounds. Turnover. There were a couple of passes to phantom IU players resulting in over and back violations. Troy continually missed at the rim (again). Yogi. Geez, I love this guy. Arguably the best PG IU's ever had, but he's not clutch. I feel like there's still one more level to Yogi that we're not seeing. Coaching? Possibly (save it for a different thread). Maybe I'm seeing something that isn't there? Possible also. Oh and I don't recall who posted it in the game thread, but TB totally looks like an 80 yr old arthritic man when running down the court. I was rolling when I read that last night. Does he seem to complain about calls a lot? There was one play where he could have grabbed the ball but was too busy complaining (luckily TW was there to grab it). I'm not saying that his complaints are always unjustified, but quit freaking moaning and play basketball. BJC is a really nice venue to watch a game. I'd highly recommend it if given the chance. Tickets are inexpensive, it's easy to get in and out of, parking is cheap, and the fans are friendly and engaging. Aside from the outcome, a great experience overall. coonhounds Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 We aren't good enough to overlook teams. We continually play at the level of our competition. That was a **** showyes no excuse to come out that out of sync. 10 turnovers in first ten minutes inexcusable. The way crean managed bryants fouls was questionable at best. Yogi couldn't get it going at all in any way. That kind of performance just ruins Thursday to me because I expect us to play good and if we crush iowa I will be upset we wasted a game at Penn state but if we lose Thursday then I will be depressed because surely our late season self destruction is well under way. Just a demoralizing game imo WayneFleekHoosier and mdn82 2 Quote
Trish Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Thought I would post this in here: I coach here in Bloomington. Currently I coach two teams but one of my teams are 1st and 2d grade girls. They scored 64 points yesterday. IU only scored 63. I thought that was funny haha. Quote

On to the next one Well we need 4 more losses to get to 12-6 on the year right? Iowa At Iowa Purdue Michigan State Maryland. All very very very possible losses. Especially once Thomas gets into foul trouble, let alone if our shots don't fall. I still believe 12-6, but I could also see 11-7. Quote
schoosier Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 This one's on our guards .. They didn't get the ball to Thomas Bryant. That is all we needed, bad calls or not. TB needs to touch the ball on almost every possession. EARTH to TROY .... Where the F are U!TB was open most of the possessions and never got a sniff. He was open so much I quit complaining as it just wasnt happening. Plus, only Hartman knows how to feed the post anyways like that hasnt been taught. Just very bad on all fronts both on and off the floor. The zone to protect TB when getting his third was all on coach. Sitting on 2 timeouts then using them after it was over. God forbid we get our but kicked by a terrible Penn St team and not use all of your timeouts. Playing so low after so high same old routine much like late season tanks. This team is too talented and deep to ever lose to Penn St. MikeRoberts and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote
