You know, I said this in the game thread and I'm going to say it again.....One very popular criticism of this team, even among our own fans, is that it is impossible to get over excited about the team because we have only played teams considered to be the bottom - half of the conference. I say you're absolutely correct. We beat them all. We were supposed to win those games and we did just that. All of them. Can MSU say that? Can Purdue say that? Can Maryland? Can Wisky? No they cannot. All those teams lost to someone considered to be bottom-half. The formula for success in this league has always been, win the games you are supposed to and steal a couple from the teams your not and you are right there for the title. How is it possible, people are not bonkers over this start? We are doing exactly what we should be.

Ill be bonkers if we continue winning all we should.  That would leave us at 10-1 or 11-0 depending how you view Michigan.  If we pull that off, I will be bonkers.

Right now I just appreciate that we haven't shot ourselves in the foot yet.

Back up by 3 at half. Fingers crossed. With a 2 game lead over everybody but Iowa I think we have a real chance to win the Big Ten this year.

Man, that would be huge. We steal one from any of those 3 and keep topping the others and I'd say it's a real good possibility.

We're hard to beat playing unselfish, team ball with good defense. The only thing that would have been more satisfying was if Weber was coaching the Illini. Lots to build on after this win. We just have to keep building on these sucesses and the staff needs to start backing off the practices for a late season push. Excellent game tonight.

Haven't read the whole thread, and I'm sure someone else either thought of this or brought it up, but this game reminded me very much of the Illinois game several years ago when we just wiped them out at home, shooting the lights out.  2002, maybe?

They played really well tonight.  I liked the movement and liked 27 assists.   How good's THAT?  IU didn't just shoot well, we played well.  I like it.  Happy for Yogi on a night he broke a record, because he was patient and played very well.  I've been hard on him, but tonight was a night for him to celebrate a great accomplishment and a game very well played.  Illinois has some serious work to do; and I think Indiana is much better than they were in November.

Well---alrighty then.  That was fun--especially the second half.  One word---DOMINATION!

Great intensity and great team win.

Pick your poison----19 3-pointers by 9 different IU players.

School records are falling---most 3 pointers ever and Yogi is now the all-time assist leader. Nine more assists tonight!

RoJo bounced back---great to see.

Mad Max Bielfeldt---what a line---16 pts, 8 rebs, 3 assists, 3 blocks--all in ONLY 17 minutes. Max says "HI" Michigan!

27 total assists and ONLY 11 turnovers!

The offense was clicking on all cylinders and defense was solid when it needed to be solid.

Keep on rolling Hoosiers. Bring on Northwestern and let's sweep the state of Illinois!
