I'm very glad Phinisee chose to be a Hoosier.

And how!  One thing that is really encouraging is the fact that Archie was a PG, and not one that relied on superior size or athleticism.  He knows we need a point, he knows what qualities it takes to play the point, and how to develop one.  Now he has HIS guy in Robert P.  Add in the fact that RP can get points, rebound and distribute and I fully expect that PG will be a position of strength instead of weakness.

No moaning that RP couldn’t carry his team.  This was not an upset.  These were the teams expected to battle it out in a very strong sectional.

The kid scored 60% of his team's points. That's pretty much the definition of carrying his team. A shame for him that no one else showed up.

Just saw some additional stats and McC was only 6-21 on 3’s which was typically a strong point for them all season.  RP was 12-24 from the field, 3-9 on 3’s and 6-6 FT.

@samueltking: Zionsville 60, McCutcheon 50. Final. Eagles win first sectional title since 1995. Robert Phinisee scores 33 for McCutcheon in final game. 2,023 points over four years. What a career. Isaiah Thompson 21 points for Zionsville.

66% of his teams points, that's impressive
