Dalton26 Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 But what I'm asking is why don't you think he'll be as good as Nick Z? Because he didn't put up big numbers? What have you read that would lead you to think he'll transfer? Because hes not as good of a shooter as what you likely believe. He had a few games where he didnt even score a point and he's not really good at anything else imo. He's not near the shooter NZ is and i doubt he ever will be. I dont see big conference D1 basketball player in this kids at all. As I stated I think he'll be an end of the bench player who won't get many minutes that's why I think he'll transfer. Just sayin' ... Nick Z was not all that great a shooter during his 1st two college years at Ill St. Quote

Understandable if that's what your knowledge base of him is, that "he's not as good of a shooter" But his high release at 6'5" is the difference IMO. Nick is 6'2". Jordan H is 6 feet. We'll see but I'm betting this kid develops into a weapon. I don't know all of his numbers but I know he can raise up and make them very quickly. In this offense, there are opportunities for that. We'll see! ALASKA HOOSIER, Lt. John McClaine, ThompsonHoosier and 1 other 4 Quote

MadAboutIndiana Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 I would honestly love nothing more than to be wrong about him. I hope I'm wrong about Green! To get back on topic Danny Green isn't someone we necessarily want our players looking up to. But maybe Devonte is his own man. His recruiting didn't make much sense. Seems to be very skilled yet he didn't seem highly sought? Quote

MadAboutIndiana Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 Why not? Just seems like he's regressed as a player. Known to be a big partier and not much of a worker or a guy committed to raising his game. Along for the ride so to speak. Acc to SAS fans at least Quote

He went from a guy that was a 2nd round pick, waived twice in the NBA by the Cavs and the Spurs, to working his way into a key starter and excellent defender on a Championship team. SWEETLEMONbrown Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 In my personal opinion, when he finally does get decent minutes, he'll be somewhat similar to Remy Abell his sophomore year. I feel like this kid may have reached his ceiling, so I do agree with the guys that say he might be a potential transfer. But I'd love love love to be wrong. Quote
