It's just my opinion that if there's to be a change the deal has already been struck and there won't be a wait until July because of the need to get a new coach on board and on the recruiting trail. To wait will put IU in much the same position the IU Women's team was put in when Miller was terminated. Quote

The way his buyout is constructed it's not a lump sum, it's paid out over 5 years and he probably wouldn't get the full 12 million. Plus I read somewhere that what he gets paid at his next coaching job is deducted from what IU would owe so IU could theoretically get out with paying only a small portion of it. Feathery 1 Quote
