So you want the teams to have restrictions? How is it their fault if all the time and effort they put in recruiting a kid and he decides he wants to leave?

Are you for real?  How out of touch are you. These kids are making these coaches millions. They can go recruit another employee.

once again we are back to we should treat the kids unfairly so as to not mildly inconvenience the people profiting off the kids. Yay for exploitation

Are you for real? Where does it say a kid has to go to college to play a sport? Nowhere, if the college setup is so terrible why aren't they going to play overseas in droves? Maybe... they get a lot out of being associated with these universities and coaches.

Don't get me wrong though, I don't think coaches should be making millions and skipping on responsibilities either.

1st of all, let's stop using "kids", because that's not what they are.

2nd we aren't back to the mild inconvenience, you are.

Teams want cohesion, fans want players they can root for and see grow and achieve over time, this revolving door because I got a hang-nail attitude isn't helping anyone, except those who want to bail on everything with no consequence.

Unfairness is more so when a kid takes the last scholly, forcing another kid to go somewhere he really doesn't want, and then transfers out after the 1st time his lack of effort is called into question at practice, denying the other kid the chance at the place they preferred.

Jeff Borzello - ESPN 100 wing Jaykwon Walton has decommitted from Mississippi State, source confirms to ESPN. Had pledged to the Bulldogs on Saturday.

So the check bounced?

We'll just have to see who to and how quickly he commits to someone else, check may have gotten stolen from the mailbox and replaced by a bigger one.

Yes I am for real.

So the coaches can go and recruit another but there are supposed to be restrictions on that because the last guy they recruited decided to transfer, lets not put any restrictions on the kid whose choice it is but lets restrict others that can't make the choice, they should definitely face the consequences of a decision that they didn't make.

As others have said, nobody is mentioning "mildly inconvenience" except you. And you are also the only one saying the "kids are being treated unfairly". I still don't get how it is unfair that they have consequences for their decisions.

I am (and have been) trying to make valid points and explain my side, I appreciate the discussion, but at this point it appears you don't have anything else to add, just keep saying the same thing until it is accepted and have begun to sound irritated and condescending so we can just agree to disargee on the subject and move on so nobody else has to read a back and forth.

Zion is a physical marvel. RJ Barrett will be #1. And I'm guessing Cam Reddish will be wishing he went elsewhere because he won't be ball dominant.

Barrett is scary good. Wonder who will check Zion for us?

Yeah Barrett will go one and it really won’t be close. Zion is a solid player. But at 6’6” I have a hard time believing he can be a top 5 pick let alone 1 in spite of his athleticism. I honestly believe Reddish will go higher than him. Little will. Romeo and him will be close. Great player that if he were 2-3 inches taller could be a top 3 pick.

Zion needs to drop weight. At least 20 pounds. 285 pounds at 18 can easily turn into 300+ as he enters his 20s if he's not careful. Even though it's 285 pounds of muscle that's not good on your body, especially with the way he plays.
