What a joke when you consider what LSU (bags of cash), Kansas (bags of cash), Duke (million dollar home for Zion and family) etc., etc., have done.  I can’t stand Illinois but the inconsistent enforcement of the rules is an absolute embarrassment to the NCAA.

The days of the NCAA as the enforcer are over. At this point its a paper tiger, a neutered one at that. It's main purpose for existing - maintaining the façade of amateur collegiate sports - is out the window. Incompetence and hubris has been its downfall.

I made a similar tweet today off of the news of the Kansas player getting 1 exhibition game and 3 regular season games, and now all of these Gonzaga fan boys are in my replies arguing that there is no such thing as an exhibition and that Few got 3 games.

Imagine having that take on the same day we find out an NFL player killed someone driving under the influence!?!?

Click through and checkout the comments, it's crazy.

When Kansas shows more self-awareness than you, you've got a problem.

Check this one out...She's looking for sympathy because Few might miss on a recruit because he had to miss their version of Hoosier Hysteria.

Edit: I stole your self-awareness line later in the tweet, LIH

Thanks for pointing that one out. Would have hated to miss the fun,

All 5 Gonzaga fans are all up in my replies.

It's actually pretty sad, given the Henry Ruggs situation today. Imagine on a day where that news happens that you take to Twitter to vigorously defend a college coaches lame DUI suspension because he coaches your favorite team.

Borzello -

The NCAA has rejected Oklahoma State's appeal and the Cowboys are banned from the 2022 postseason, source confirmed to ESPN. First reported by @MattNorlander. OK State was given postseason ban in 2020, but appealed. Stems from Level I violation involving ex-assistant Lamont Evans

And the Tom Crean-iacs at Georgia lose an exhibition to a bottom half of C-USA Charlotte team by 11 points.

Enjoy your last year at UGA Coach Crean.

They'd honestly be stupid to get rid of him. It's Georgia. They should be happy if they win any game in basketball. They are IU in football. At best. Garbage program. And they have somehow with little talent, had a better record every year.

Alabama, Auburn, and Tennessee used to feel the same way about their basketball teams. They don't anymore.

It's the same old thing with CTC--after a few years in any place, he has an awful hard time getting an in-state recruit.

How many coaches are jumping to go to Georgia? Pearl was a massive risk for Auburn. Tennessee had actually seen success in basketball and way more than Georgia. Alabama had even seen some success and way more than Georgia. Georgia is just awful.

They have had plenty of talent to have better records then they put up the last couple years.   The  better record every year can be explained by setting the bar really low in the first year and finishing 16-16 and 14-12 in his  next 2 years.  Georgia can be an awful program and still expect or try to have a coach that can have a better SEC record then 9-34 in 3 years.  I wouldn’t see anything stupid if Georgia decided to get rid of a coach that threw his players under the bus and said it was his fault they were losing because he kept players left over from the Last coaching staff.   When in year 3 you lose most your team to the transfer portal and you strain the relationship with in-state recruiting I have 0 problem with Georgia moving on.

As much as I like Tom Crean, I agree with everything you said.
