The twitter speculation/rumor is that it's gambling related.

UW says they won't comment further based on privacy laws. Temple says they won't comment because he is no longer there.

He was a backup at Temple so I imagine he was just a "we have an unused scholarship so let's use it for another body" player. I read he hadn't played in their exhibition games and was practicing as part of the scout team. Won't hurt UW at all.

IU Indy is finally doing some advertising besides the usual bus decals.  They got window signs, offering businesses free tickets for select games to hand out, and even managed to get three home games on WNDY 23 for the first time since the 2014-15 season.

It's something to finally get recognized in the city again.

Looks like they were throwing up some bricks in the second half. The question would be is Georgetown better than previously thought, or is PUke and pUKe not nearly as good?  It is probably somewhere in between.

Both.  However UK was missing some pieces.  2-3 starters.  They have "depth" but sometimes that works against you unless you get to a reasonable rotation.

NCAA football and basketball is some sleazy business.  Has been for a while but the more out in the open policies and TV contracts have made it so glaringly obvious.

Purdue hasn’t even played a game and are already dropping. Also, that’s basically where we were last year, so hopefully we’re a little better than that.

Night before Christmas.   Tomorrow’s slate starts at 8 am.  Field of 68 opening day marathon on YouTube.    Florida/Arizona and BYU/Villanova will be the top games of the night and they will be on TNT.

As we start this college basketball season just wanted to say thanks in advance  to all that will drop in this thread all year and make viewing college basketball even better.   Not sure how long we have been doing in this thread I just know it’s part of my college basketball watching experience.  If you are new to here and love all college basketball jump on in and post with us about all the games.   With the football team kicking butt some might be late to party in here this year but we will keep the light on for you.  Let’s have a good year hoops junkies.   @johnsoniu do you have an early morning bet on the first game to kick off the year?
