I said devries needed to win big early. This off season will be critical but will be hard to get NIL donations in a big way if nobody has confidence in the product imo. Fan moral is at a all time low. Today won't help with any of that. Guess we will see what happens in big tournament.

I actually think it's encouraging that DeVries is willing to admit his mistakes.  I prefer this to the previous know-it-all that refused to listen to anyone. It sounds like DeVries is willing to make the adjustments needed to win in the Big Ten.

Sorry fellas Multiple drinks plus Indy Car race that led directly into an IU game was a bad recipe . 

I know it is what it is can’t do a damn thing about it. Just wanted to watch at least 1 game in the first round . Tourney loses so much of my interest without IU . Tired of just hate watching Purdue games 

also my grandfather is 89 years old big part of the reason why I’m and IU fan just wish we had something exciting and positive to talk about on the phone in regards to the program . He Has told me multiple times just wish they’d be good one more time in my life . We used to go to a game every year this year his health wasn’t good enough to make the trip was a bummer so I just hoped we could watch back inthe tourney instead .

That’s what I thought I heard.   Big problem.  A basketball lifer should know about the other conferences.   You do play them in the tournament.

The year has been disappointing.  I get it.  I'm choosing to be optimistic about DeVries.

IU could have been projected solidly in the field if they scheduled better in the non conference.   No reason for the program as it is to today to be scheduling games like Kentucky and Louisville.  Fans want them but they do 0 for the program and have done 0 for them the last 4 years.   They have been easy Q1 wins for the other teams that help their resume.   IU would have been better off scheduling lower level power 5 programs or even Miami(oh) and that would have giving them a better chance at improving their resume.    Iowas “big” non conference wins this year were Grand Canyon and Ole Miss (4-14 in conference) and that gave them 2 Q1 wins.

Me too brotha’. I’m hoping that devries is an xs and os autist. With the addition of carr and maybe a motivational speaker in 27 we’ll get there
