FWIW they promised this for the Peach Bowl too, but to my knowledge the broadcast never got going. I gave up around the 2nd quarter and then the stream entirely disappeared from the ESPN app a little later on.

If anybody isn't 100% thrilled with their flight plan to South Florida, it might be worth checking options today as it seems like people might be cancelling. I was just able to switch my flight to West Palm Beach that connected in Baltimore to a direct to Miami for a pretty nominal amount more.

Indiana-Miami ticketing predicts split fanbase at Hard Rock Stadium

 

Split Fanbase is the best we can ask for playing on their home field, I guess.  We just need to bring it one more time.

If we can win the non Indiana tickets equal to our fanbase size ratio those numbers would equate to us having a slight advantage. Based on state population size I would imagine outside of Florida and Indiana the ratio might even be closer to 5-1.

Yeah, I never was able to find the radio call broadcasts either. The best experience, I think, is skycam or high skycam then syncing up Fisch yourself on a separate sound system (if you're not already syncing Fisch for games, I don't know what you're doing). It gives a great view of the field and development of plays like an all-22 feed, you get the crowd noise (on surround sound? ooo baby), and then you get Fisch narrating and giving you important information like why there is a stoppage of play or whatever other info is occasionally convenient to have.  The additional casts have always been my favorite part of the playoffs, it's such a shame they're really difficult to find for replays later.

Did you catch last night's? It's fantastic. It actually doesn't talk about the Miami O-line basically at all (though some of the shorts do), but it's a great explanation of how the Indiana D operates, creates simulated pressures, and manages to be so effective. 

Also, he touches on how great we are at tackling! Finally someone recognizes.

Watching some of the OSU-Miami game again, my wife and I were talking about how the last game Sayin played, a month earlier, was against us. I wonder if that impacted how he handled Miami's pressure. I think it's well-established that our defense leaves QBs seeing ghosts and I find it hard to believe those ghosts are exorcised by not playing football for a month. But maybe I'm just glazing us.

He was also on a Miami podcast and did some breakdown there; really negative about our o-line in that one. He's not really wrong about all of it, but I do think he's playing to his audience a bit too. He doesn't give a reason to think the o-line will be materially worse against Miami than it was against anyone else.

I know a huge reason why Notre Dame chose independence was because a Michigan football coach was a racist **** that kept them out of the then-Western Conference, but that was over 100 years ago.  Honestly, at this point, either join a conference or stop moaning.  The ACC sided with Miami for a reason.

Ha, never underestimate the douchiness of that fanbase. Live here in the heart of domerville and they are unflappable.

current domer logic is they are better than Miami, the H2H doesn’t matter because it was first game of the season. At the same time they are better than us because they beat us LAST year.

I did! And you're right, it was excellent. 

 

He's doing a player by player/position by position breakdown tonight. He just posted it. He talks about IU's DC making all of his players give a 6 to 8 page profile of every player on the opposing teams offense each game. 

 

I especially like what he said he makes them do in the off-season...players have to watch film or the best players by position in the country, then each gives a presentation as to what it is that makes that player the best.

Saw a Reddit post about Rourke today and made me think that if there’s anyway to make it happen we need to get him to the game on Monday.  
 

Without all his heart playing thru multiple injuries I don’t think any of this would have been possible.  
 

Had we gone even 8-4 last year I doubt we get all the pieces we needed to make this team a reality. Maybe Cig still gets us to this game but it wouldn’t be the same

According to this the #3 state in ticket sales is Illinois at over 11%.  I believe it was third in ticket sales at the last two IU playoff games as well, and we can safely assume the ratio for that group will be 99% Indiana fans.
