Popular Post Pagoda Posted January 2 Popular Post Posted January 2 Lines have opened up at IU -4 to -4.5. This will be a very tough game as we know, but a semifinal was never gonna be easy. IU fans know how to converge on Atlanta, so I'd expect another crowd advantage for us. Go IU! Demo, jermhoosierfan, Hollywood Mike Miranda and 7 others 10 Quote
HoosierCoop Posted January 2 Posted January 2 At least we will have a week to figure out what we did wrong in Eugene. :) southsidehoosier and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 2 Posted January 2 We definitely seemed to be bothered by the noise level at times at Oregon. That certainly won't be the case in Atlanta. With luck, Oregon will be the team bothered by the noise level. str8baller, Brass Cannon, cybergates and 1 other 4 Quote
BH33 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 The Oregon game was when those late DL shifts were causing multiple false starts, right? southsidehoosier, OliviaPope40, Demo and 3 others 6 Quote

Yep based on just this board IU Nation will be descending on Atlanta. im curious what people got their tickets at. If prices hadn’t gone up too much would indicate Oregon fans weren’t buying tickets 8bucks 1 Quote

That stadium looked about half-full at most, and I have a feeling that it won't be that way in Atlanta with IU descending on that stadium like a fat kid to pie, and I do like pie. Pagoda 1 Quote

Hopefully Cig can get in the officials ear about this pregame. It should be a penalty on the defense and the refs need to call it that way. Quote

I think that will the case. Despite their very solid stretch of football success they are a smaller fanbase in the most distant part of the country. When we played Auburn in a mildly interesting regular season bball game in Atlanta a couple years ago we still had a strong crowd show up (rough day for those poor folks). I think it will be 70%+ IU fans. We shall see… jermhoosierfan and Home Jersey 2 Quote

Ha…I have a hotel room booked just in case but haven’t bought anything else yet. I shouldn’t be leaving work next week but…. When I saw the prices I couldn’t resist. Only really expensive thing is flights out of Indy/FW which is to be expected. If you’re not in Indiana and can fly from wherever I’d guess things can be done pretty easily. Quote
DChoosier Posted January 2 Posted January 2 I think we will overrun the stadium but does anyone know which side, or sections, are the IU side? I’m going to Atlanta but don’t want to sit around a bunch of Ducks. Quote
DChoosier Posted January 2 Posted January 2 I reserved a room last week at the Embassy Suites by the stadium for just under $400. They are now going for over $1,300!! That being said there are good hotels with decent rates in midtown which has a bunch of restaurants etc and is a Uber or MARTA ride to the stadium. Also….anyone heard of any IU get together/bars near the stadium on game day ?? Quote
RoadRage Posted January 2 Posted January 2 I think Moore is banged up, if we can get a couple of clean legal shots on him early, I think he will be greatly diminished! Soulsnipes and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote

8bucks Posted January 2 Posted January 2 I grabbed tickets on TickPick and saved about $125/ticket. Quote
