Two more games for Louis, which is good.  Of course we want him cleared all season, but kicking the can down the road with the same chance to get him cleared all season is a win.

Louis Moore will be eligible for the next two games as both sides agreed to move the September 10th hearing to September 24th. (IDS)

It would be laughable to declare him ineligible

A lot of tickets were bought for the remaining conference games over the past week -- two more sell-outs just announced and Wisky (the last game of the year) is close.

I know some were disappointed in the non-con crowds, but this is really unprecedented levels of ticket sales, especially with the higher prices this year and we don't have any marquee names coming to town (though yes Illinois is a huge game).

This is good stuff!!!

That’s really strange. There were like 3000 tickets left for MSU and UCLA games last week. I’m not complaining, just wondering how they did it.

Also possible the beatdown got some people psyched.

SeatGeek is now a direct seller on behalf of IU. It’s smoke and mirrors so IU can claim a sell out, and dump large swathes of tickets. Normally I wouldn’t care but it drives up the cost of the tickets due to the 25% buyers fee fans have to pay when buying from the platform. It also had an aggregator tool to allow them to see on other broker platforms like Vivid Seats. There’s zero transparency and it makes it 10x harder for fans to sell their tickets if they can’t go to a game

He must be seeing things on film to put a little heat on him. If I had to guess talking to him within the locker room might not be working and making it public might light a fire or something. He's done that to players in the past prior to IUFB. Look, Coach Cig understands coverage busts won't cut it against Illinois. Everyone needs to be on the same page for this game. It's a big one.

Next game: Illinois Fighting Illini

And so it nears -- the biggest game for IU athletics this fall/winter by a massive margin.

Do we win and take a huge step towards being in the CFB/CFB Playoff national conversation again?

Or do we lose, fall out of the top-25 and the national focus, and try in the background to make a decent bowl?

Hoooo boy is this a huge game.

Especially considering the difficulty of the next 2.

We'll learn a lot about our football team over the next three weeks. Illinois is as close to a must win as we are ever going to have. Oregon and Penn State on the road will tough to overcome. We pretty much have to beat Illinois and Iowa and then not overlook the rivalry game at the end to have a shot at being in the playoff conversation. How things have changed since getting to six wins was the yearly goal.
