DChoosier Posted January 26 Posted January 26 They showed a graphic in which MD had the 3rd worst winning percentage, in close games, in the NCAA. Willard should send Woody a thank you note. str8baller 1 Quote

JF87 Posted January 26 Posted January 26 We played with effort, made a nice comeback, got the crowd excited, and then had no clue what we were doing at the end. The talent is there but effort without direction is often wasted. BannerVille 1 Quote

LamarCheeks Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Rewatched the last inbound play. What a cluster fudge. Rice and Reneau both ran to the corner. They were 2 feet from each other. The hell was that gonna accomplish? And Bako and Goode more or less just stood there. Afterward, Goode just shrugged his shoulders. Those guys looked as if they had absolutely no idea what to do. Are there not set plays to run from out of bounds under the bucket? We had no timeouts, but shouldn't have needed one. Should have had something to run there ... not just olly, olly oxen free. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Somebody mentioned we shot 41% on 3s today. Yeah, that's good hitting 7-17. BUT, we let MD go 12-24. +15 point differential we had to make up somewhere. OliviaPope40, Ryno6284, DChoosier and 1 other 3 1 Quote

Get Mbako, Carlyle and goode in on that one possession and we likely win. He’s the biggest dumbass on the sidelines in my lifetime including Davis. Quote
JSHoosier Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Let's just fire Woodson now and let a random fan with a Coaching Basketball for Dummies book be the interim, results would be about the same. Quote
HinnyHoosier Posted January 26 Posted January 26 After the way the last 2 minutes of that game was (un)managed, I can't fully believe Woodson has 100% of his faculties intact. Quote
AZ Hoosier Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Just saw Willard post game interview with Lappas... he said "we're a new group... we have to keep working". Oh, the irony. BannerVille and OliviaPope40 2 Quote
DChoosier Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Although it’s never down to just one play, and not to deflect from Woodys absolute clown show at the end of the game, but your experienced 5th year 2G just can’t miss the front end of a one and one in crunch time at home. Just a killer. IUHoosier5, theriverpilot, Ryno6284 and 1 other 3 1 Quote
