Alabama starting OT Elijah Pritchett is hitting the portal. Started 13 games this year with 2 years left. That would be a clear upgrade, no idea if we would even have a shot.

He struggled this year and by the bowl game was splinting snaps with another player.

Would we have a shot?

Probably depends on what he is looking for in a $chool.

He started this year but is looking at other $chools.  What could be the reason?  Wants to attend a more challenging academic $chool or perhaps it’s something e$se.

based on the article I would guess he felt his status as a starter was in jeopardy.

Luckily  for him he blocked against a Michigan DL missing all three of their NFL bound linemen.

Nope….which makes the Bama loss even worse.  UM’s two primary strengths were RB and DL and all those guys sat out.  Makes me chuckle.

Ohio State could not block Michigan and Michalski couldn’t even get on the field. If Michalski is an upgrade, Pritchett would be too.

I’ll add that we have one of the best in the country coaching them up too. I’ll believe in any additions this staff makes until there’s a pattern that gives me reason not to.

Wyatt to UVA - I wonder if the staff viewed the final OL portal spot as a Wyatt vs. Benson decision?

The staff may not be done with OL recruitment but I think they still need a TE who’s a legitimate receiving threat and another pass-rusher

Did Wyatt get an offer or was he the backup plan if we missed on Benson and Michalski?

The most plugged in OSU fans are constantly mad about the state of their 1) OL coaching, 2) strength, nutrition, and conditioning, and 3) player development. Would really bet on notable improvement, current IUfb staff plus (formerly) high ranked players is a beautiful stew, maybe especially on the OL

One other thing I heard from my OSU friends is they have on/off issues with their DL coach too.  I guess he is revered and can clash with the DC.  Kinda funny.  

Unfortunately, their team is clicking right now.

I like the fit - successful program w/great coaching in a gorgeous town.  I wish the young man the best.

So pretty much the same thing every fanbase complains about. Time management and pass rush would be my guess for the others.
