A few one liners I saw after the game.

If this was high school, there would be a running clock.

Usually you have to pay the opponent before you beat em that bad.

Flag down as an official escorts Marcus Burris away from the Purdue sideline with his microphone accidentally hot, shouting, "You'd better get out of here!" Flag was unsportsmanlike on Purdue.

Just looked back over the drives.

Toiletmakers got past midfield on only ONE DRIVE (if you can call it a drive).

They got to our 46, committed a penalty that pushed it back to the PU 49, completed a pass to our 48 -- then stalled out.

So 4 yards into our territory was as "deep" as they got.

Western Illinois wasn't even that bad.

There was a point Tayven ran a keeper to the left and ran out of bounds. The clock didn’t stop. Was wondering if there actually was a continuous clock rule that I wasnt aware of. lol

They stop the clock to spot the ball, then start it again except for the final 2 minutes of each half now.

Even when running out of bounds?  Guess I never paid that close of attention. Thx for the FYI!

He was so painful to listen to.

Ahhh…I wondered if maybe he and his analyst had a few snorts before the game.  They were laughing pretty much from the start.  But the second half they were, I thought, into out of control territory.  LOL

They were pretty funny, talking about a "70-burger" still being in play late in the game.

Damn. I was hoping they would cling to the outdated belief that you have to give a coach 4 years. But I guess that only applies to our basketball program these days.

Clearly they missed the memo. Only 2 years? They'll never be able to hire anyone.
