2024 IUFB Prediction League - Game 11 at Ohio St 11/23/24 Noon FOX

Recommended Posts

This is "THE GAME". That's right, there's a new sheriff in town.

Rules

How does this work?

Each week I will create Prediction League threads for the weeks game(s).

It's a simple concept:

Each week you start with 100 points (only if a prediction is made, otherwise 0 points for the week)
+25 PTs if you guess the winner
-25 PTs if you pick the loser
+10 PTs if guess IU score correctly
+10 PTs if guess Opponent score correct
-The # of points different between the actual and predicted score of IU (over/under doesn't matter)
-The # of points different between the actual and predicted score of opponent (over/under doesn't matter)

*** Reminder if you post a prediction and want to change it, please just POST a NEW Prediction, do not edit a prior post as I may miss those edits.

The person with the most points (MINUS LOWEST GAME) at the end of the season wins.

No matter how you look at it, “those in the know” or “on the CFP committee”, are waiting and almost wanting IU to finally “stub their toe” and lose.  It’s almost like we have created a problem as if we are actually “ in the way” of someone else’s “rightful” path.

I could actually hear this probably being discussed, “If IU would just lose already and get them out of the CFP rankings.”
Look, if IU goes in there Saturday and absolutely gets smashed, then we don’t deserve some of this hype.

On the other hand, what if we go in there and win by 3 or even a touchdown?

Will we finally get the credit we deserve or will everyone including OSU fans make every excuse as to why they lost?

What if we go in there and thoroughly thump them? Does it mean we are finally really good and deserving of our ranking or will mean that OSU isn’t as good as we thought.
All I read and hear is just a giant pi$$ing contest and OSU supporters and fans like to pee a lot more.
Just my 2 cents!
GO IU!

I have no reason to get too high…or too low.  Next play…next game…whatever the outcome.  LFG!!

This coaching staff coming off a bye absolutely mollywhopped what was supposed to be our "first test" and "best defense we had played" in Nebraska. I am going to go out on a limb here. We are the best defense and offense OSU has faced. This is a make or break game for Ryan Day. Its an elimination for them. It is at the shoe. ALL the pressure is on Bucky. IU wins by two scores.

YOLO PREDICTION:

Cignetti's Millions: 35

Ryan Day's Nuclear Hot Seat: 21
