This type of performance is why I picked IU to finish mid of the pack in the big 10.  They have different faces on the team this year, but many of the same issues.  Woodsons stubbornness to do things his way is going to be the downfall of him.

Im trying so hard to find reasons to be excited about this team but my eyes are telling me a different story. 
 

outside of getting into transition, our offense is slow and boring. Watching other teams play and they cut with purpose and move with far greater purpose and intensity.

IMO, people way too concerned about whether the game ends in a 9 or 14 point win (unless you are betting on it).  IU didn't miss the tournament because of that last year -- they missed it because they were beating teams by 5 that they should have been beating by 25+

12 assists to 11 TO’s (worse in 2nd but still)

Shot 47% from the arc, on 17 shots

Carlyle had a big breakout game

Shot 81% from the line - important, the refs got whistle happy

7 steals leading to some breaks
Anyone complaining in this game just cracks me up.

I certainly don't remember Ballo in transition much at Arizona.  He's a D and rebounder who gets quite a few points on putbacks.

I think the thought of IU being a 10 seed is more about the lack of trust in the coaching, but I certainly don't think the results have been that of a 10 seed.  But the team has shot the ball better from deep even with the nothing they have gotten from Goode.  The volume hasn't been there but 20 of 51 from three through three games is a set of numbers I'd take.
