Reminds me a bit of the 2013 Syracuse team that had 1 guy over 6'9 but their guard and wing length just confounded IU. Hopefully IU can play at a similar level defensively minus the march up zone.

Rabby says that Curtis is still a possibility but unlikely at this time. He does not consider him a developmental guy, he just doesn't think he'll end up at IU.

One of my favorite non IU teams to watch were the 1989 Illinois team. All of their starters were between 6'4 - 6'8 and don't they really had anyone taller than 6'8 who played.

His recruitment has been a little erratic, but if you believe 247 he received an offer from WVU after DDV was hired, so who knows.

I didn’t say he wouldn’t at all. He just doesn’t do it very much. They guard gaps and the ball hard. They also extend more than most packline teams.

You don't roll a lineup out like this and not utilize the ability to switch, which we will. Especially in transition, scramble situations.

Seems my goal of getting into the top 25 preseason on hype and roster assessment is a long shot now.  Hopfullly DeVries can surpass expectations and we start to be considered a top 25 program again at some point.
