I think if you are plus at 1, 2, and 5 spots--- a combo of Dorn, Sisley, and Olsen can be fine at the 4 spot. Quote
ronzo4IU Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago A comparable team to this years Michigan could be: Bonke-Mara Freeman-Lenderborg Sherrell-Johnson Cadeau-Burton Gayle-Brumbaugh Quote

If Olsen is your 3rd guy at the 4 position, he's also probably your last guy off the bench. I think that's a perfect role for him. I don't think he should be expected to be more than that (ie starting 4 or 6th-7th man overall). Our issues with a shorter rotation this year were not in quantity but in quality. Home Jersey 1 Quote

Spend 20-30 mil this year and think about budgeting later. Took Dusty 5 years to get it going at FAU, but after that we can see what he is doing with the right funding behind him. Hope DDV can do the same. Yep. Layout out $25m on the table, flood the media with pics of it, and see who shows up. Its a pay to play generation in college Bball whether we like it or not. Its time to get in the game. Jmo Herotime and ronzo4IU 2 Quote

Shooter Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I refuse to believe Devries and Carr watched us get killed on the glass all season, and then decided to bring in Adam Olsen as our primary 4. If that proves to be true, I'll join the cause of the doomers. Did anyone watch South Alabama play this year? If he can move a little bit, maybe he gets minutes as a shooting combo forward a la Ben Humrichous. Kentuckysucks, triple, ronzo4IU and 1 other 4 Quote

I don't have a problem with him as last guy off the bench, but it feels like you could sit on his commitment for a while given Sisley is already on the roster. 44 minutes ago, Asha’man said: We need bench players too. Get him on the roster so it’s one less spot to worry about. He likely isn’t costing a ton either. I suspect there would be more acceptance if we played this process out and signed him after our priority targets. The optics of him being the first target are weird. You'd think we'd at least try for more upside first. That or he has to be the guy every other person has misevaluated. One final option, maybe he's dirt cheap.
