we played less than that last year and it didn't work well... I think if you are plus at 1, 2, and 5 spots--- a combo of Dorn, Sisley, and Olsen can be fine at the 4 spot.

I still think we are saying the same thing? If Olsen is your 3rd guy at the 4 position, he's also probably your last guy off the bench. I think that's a perfect role for him. I don't think he should be expected to be more than that (ie starting 4 or 6th-7th man overall).

Our issues with a shorter rotation this year were not in quantity but in quality.

I refuse to believe Devries and Carr watched us get killed on the glass all season, and then decided to bring in Adam Olsen as our primary 4. If that proves to be true, I'll join the cause of the doomers.

Did anyone watch South Alabama play this year? If he can move a little bit, maybe he gets minutes as a shooting combo forward a la Ben Humrichous.

I suspect there would be more acceptance if we played this process out and signed him after our priority targets.  The optics of him being the first target are weird.  You'd think we'd at least try for more upside first.  That or he has to be the guy every other person has misevaluated.  One final option, maybe he's dirt cheap.
