As someone else said, that sure feels like Tucker 2.0. Is Estrella a significant talent increase at C? IUBB had 99 problems, but Alexis ain't one. A lot will depend on who ends up at the other spots. Is Dorn starting at 3, will there be a competent back-up C & PG? I wouldn't panic at that list for certain, but Olsen is not an encouraging start, IMO. I felt the same about Bailey last year. As underwhelming as Tucker was last year, Tucker would make Olsen look like a JV player. Tucker had a decent handle who could facilitate from the point and still rebounded at a decent clip despite being undersized. Olsen gives you nothing offensively other than shooting and his defensive metrics are about as poor as it gets. Muskie plays the four, Hardwood83, WayneFleekHoosier and 2 others 4 1 Quote

I am sure everyone knows more than the staff, but I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt this time and hope they understand this as well. Quote

ronzo4IU Posted Wednesday at 04:07 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:07 PM We need a deep dive into our philanthropist pockets to gain momentum and get the class balancing figured out this season. Spend 20-30 mil this year and think about budgeting later. Took Dusty 5 years to get it going at FAU, but after that we can see what he is doing with the right funding behind him. Hope DDV can do the same. Brill and NVFalcons1990 1 1 Quote

Hoosier987 Posted Wednesday at 04:15 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:15 PM Sampson has coached a ton of great guards. From Hollis Price, to Eric Gordon and LJ Cryer. Hell, he coached Earl Calloway to a really good year in our 06-07 season. He can point to a number of successes. skhoosier2 1 Quote

FightFor6 Posted Wednesday at 04:55 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:55 PM If we are counting on Olson to be more than a 6'8" Matt Roth, we're in trouble. I don't have a problem with him as last guy off the bench, but it feels like you could sit on his commitment for a while given Sisley is already on the roster. CSP and BannerVille 1 1 Quote

Get him on the roster so it’s one less spot to worry about. He likely isn’t costing a ton either. CSP 1 Quote
