He will not.  Was told he needed to live with teammates.  Sisley's understand & are good with it, respect what he’s doing…but no surprise, in the bigger sense, they’re people who “get it.”

I totally agree with living with teammates.  I played college baseball and couldn't imagine any other way given schedules, togetherness, etc..

Gross speculation / hyperbole warning:

Totally sounds like the type of thing that got casually floated at some point (like mom jokingly saying on a visit that if Trent goes to IU he could live with his brother, lol) and Woody jumping all over it like “Tell you what, if that helps seal the deal, we can make that happen” … willing to agree to something other coaches wouldn’t so he could check a box and get back to what he really loves doing. Lol… he knew how to compromise when it served him. Despite the fact they were well compensated, I do feel bad for the kids who thought they were walking into a completely different situation under Woody than it was in reality.

Very pleased to have a coach that seems to know how to build a program we can be proud of and will set kids up for success on and off the court.

Any news on Stephen Payne III? I'm a fan of James Scott but haven't seen we're interested. Payne does have a nose for the oboards and defense.

Is that Ball State's Steve Payne's kid?  I see everything only has his mother listed, and her name is not Payne.

Is Trilly saying anything about weekend visits or a timeline for any of the bigs we have contacted ie Federico Federico, Baba Miller, Robert Miller, Stephon Payne III, or Leo Curtis? Was expecting intel from somewhere by now.

If Goode is part of the team, the coaching staff needs to be clear that he can’t be commenting on social media. No responding to Dakich. That needs to be a directive for the whole team.

I’m too old to really care about that. Reflexively I agree with you. Then I ask myself, “what the hell do I know about social media?”

I would be fine if Indiana just embargoed everything and anything involving Dakich.

Lmao who are you to tell someone to tell what someone does with their personal online account

I wouldn’t be the one establishing the rule would I? If you’re getting paid by the University, you can’t be getting in public measuring contests

Players can tweet whatever they want, but I’d prefer to leave the Mike Woodson “woe is us, it’s the fans fault” mentality in the rearview mirror, and Goode was a part of that. We don’t need him with the guys DD has brought in.

I agree - with the caveat that I’m all for players, coaches… anybody really… putting Dakich in his place after he calls them out. Hopefully DDV gets them tuning out that noise or using it as motivation instead of self pity.

I think these are young kids who are still impressionable to a large degree.  Luke is a player who would really benefit from a fresh start with a coach who emphasizes accountability etc…

I think a kid like him could flourish in the right system with the right mentors.
