FWIW, Bailey was first team A-10 as well as most improved player (and he wasn't bad before).  Kind of fits the Danny Wolf profile of a big who took his game to the next level.

Lesson for the board?

At this point we don’t know jack about likely roster additions. It’d be great if we did, but we largely do not.

Bailey was barely discussed as being on IU’s radar and there were articles last week saying he was a Kentucky lean.

It’s good to read that it seems we have landed RB (and he is a guy other majors were after). 
Agree the overall D looks a bit iffy but I’m not stressed as we still have a whole lot of slots to fill.

I know nothing about this kid besides what you all have said over the last two pages but damnit if I don’t trust this board’s analysis.

RB = Danny Wolf is similar to someone the other day comparing a 5’11” target, can’t remember who it was,  to Yogi :)

Agreed. I remember the feeling when watching Crean teams that being down 8-10 was well within reach. Haven’t felt that in a while.

Wolf was one of my favorite players to watch this year. A really unique talent.

I’m good to wait as long as coach gets his guys in place.  This is a long term investment not just a quick fix for next years roster.   If his top guy decides to stay where he is at for now at least DeVries showed his interest and keeps the relationship open for future openings down the road.    Long term plan is greater then short term success

But Wolf is more Bailey’s mold. He’s definitely not a catch and shoot or back to the basket guy. That 40% from three was on low volume. He’s a kid that’ll take a three if you dare him to, but he wants to be on the move with the ball.

Yep,

I had never heard of RB until I opened the Tony Adranga spreadsheet that someone posted today. Tony had RB listed.  Of the listed players two of them, RB and Nigel Pack had green backgrounds over their names which I am guessing means high mutual interest. 
If the Pack thing turns out to be real it will be nice that the Boilers will finally get to see him play in person. LOL
