If true, also might be the reason Muss was so anxious to get out of Fayetteville.

Yup, and until coaches take the hit even after they leave it’s never gonna stop. And Muss is such a POS. Can hardly stand the guy. There’s a reason he’s had a million jobs. Of all the names who got thrown around here when Woody got the job, Muss was the one that was just too gross. He’s never gonna stay anywhere.

Looks like they made it private. What did it say?

Apparently Arkansas is facing a 2 year post season ban for recruiting violations related to, of all guys, Keyon Menifield.

After that initial tweet from Coaching Changes re:  Arkansas came these 2

A second source says APR could be the issue, not recruiting violations, but that big problems with the NCAA could indeed be arriving. The model of a coach causing a problem then escaping scotfree to a new job while his former school is left holding the bag really needs to stop.

On Arkansas, one longtime source says the soon to be arriving NCAA problems are related to “issues” with one specific kid (we regret using his name) and another source says they are related to APR. But both agree big problems for Arkansas with the NCAA are soon to be arriving.

Seriously debated with myself as to should I or shouldn't I post this.  It's not April 1, but it's pretty hard to believe that it's really true.  BUT, Coaching Changes says they got confirmation and that's not an account prone to tweeting out inaccurate info.  So FWIW.

So hard to believe but if this is true, it’ll have gigantic ramifications. Odd

I don’t buy it, but, for the sake of argument, would imagine that would put Fland back in play in a New York second.

Is it true? So much nonsense in college basketball news lately.

Like Old Fart said, the guys (it is multiple people, they confirmed) that run that account are pretty connected and don’t just post any rumor they hear. I’m hoping it is because I love chaos, but I’m guessing we’ll know pretty soon.

I think it would be good for Cal.  Go where appreciated

What makes this whole Cal to Arkansas possibility even more screwy is why would he want to walk into a situation that is strongly rumored to be looking at NCAA sanctions of some magnitude.  Would possible post-season ban(s) take the pressure off of delivering immediate results?  Is he that fed up with pUKe's fan base?  Inquiring minds want to know.

What in the wide world of sports? Reports on X of Calamari to Arkansas? WTF? No Way?

edit: posted this in another thread, but seen I was beat to the message anyway!

Might be an Andy Enfield situation where you're on the hot seat already so you beat the lynch mob to a lesser but maybe  better funded NIL program. Depending on salary considerations it is almost a lateral move if the NIL commitments are better and you reset the "hot seat clock."

I don't believe it either,  tho.  Either made up nonsense or Calipari applying a little pressure to UK.
