Not that anyone should care, or that it was even hard to predict, but after OSU fired Holtmann I said OSU, Louisville and maybe even Michigan would all upgrade their coaches in the offseason while we sat back and wasted another year on Woodson. This program just sucks.

Thats a great point. Also, if that’s not a lateral move from Illinois, it is the slightest of climbs up the ladder. You can definitely build a championship program at Illinois.

In Woodson mind not only should he be the iu coach he thinks he should have gotten the job seven years ago. He also can't believe not all 100% of fans love him. That what I think goes through his head.

Going to be real hard when May goes to UL and takes all of our top high school players Woodson has no interest in.  Probably going to put some we are familiar with on his staff to top it off.  UL will make his buyout to IU impossible.

If they're gonna run the the program into the ground then let's run into freakin' ground and give the guy whatever he wants. Extend him till he's 100 yrs old. Guys got more stars on his team than any other conference team and can't do sh*t with um. The portal isn't saving his a$$. Doesn't take a business/basketball minded genius to see that, yet that's what they feel is best. It's becoming almost impossible to care anymore. My IU basketball enthusiasm will be strictly given to the women's team until this administration is gone. I found myself literally laughing this year watching games. That's not the kind of fan I want to be. Makes me sick.
