I need someone smarter than me to explain the net disparity between us and MSU, when we literally have the same resume now…they are 4 spots ahead on SOS, both have 4 quad 1 wins. 
 

Im not saying we should be in, but why do the metrics love them so much.

They have looked like **** all season long except for beating Baylor by 30 in December.

I agree. Just trying to understand what about  those two resumes warrants a 70+ difference in NET, and a 9 seed projected for them haha.

Probably the last real positive for the season. Hopefully Gallo can play next week.

What I do think though, is that I didn’t see a bunch of guys who looked like they have checked out. Even the guys on the bench were into the game.

For everyone at the beginning of the season that argued metrics don’t matter. We have the same record as MSU but they’re considered a lock and we have to run the table. I would also argue that Woodson’s desire to have a full 2nd unit in the first half of the season was a result of this.

We’re not a tourney team (barring a miraculous first time BTT win, bit it sucks that they couldn’t have this run earlier on.

Say what you will but 

- beat Wisc and MSU at home

- won in that joke of a barn gym and manhandled UM both as underdogs. 
Do that earlier and we’re probably in consideration

Just really happy for the kids to finish their season at home with this W. Nice 4 game stretch.
