Agreed. Recruiting under Mike Woodson has never been the issue. It is, simply put, non-existent. His approach is to get an armored truck and back it up the the "recruits" house.

I just don't see any way he's back next year, barring some miracle run, both in the regular season and into the tournament. Even then, they'd have to think long and hard about bringing him back. This won't happen though because it appears that most in the program have thrown in the towel and given up on the season, from the HC down. There just doesn't seem to be any effort.

Right. They play 5 of the next 7 on the road. That includes OSU, Purdue, WI and MSU. The home games are MD and MI. They may not win any of those and some will likely be blowout losses. They are currently 1-5 in quad 1 games. The five losses are by 28, 16, 17, 25 and 25. The one win is against PSU who isn't a NCAAT team. Even if this team somehow finds 6 wins in the remaining 13 to get to 19 wins, there will be so many blowout losses that they won't get a bid.

They aren’t “my guys” any more than they’re “your guys”. But I do understand the visceral reactions here. We haven’t had an elite program for several decades, and that’s due to a bunch of people in positions of leadership who were each convinced they knew what they were doing. Way too many cooks who can’t and couldn’t boil water.

My prediction: Once CMW is fired at seasons end, both Fife and Adam Howard return with Fife as HC.  Hulls and Walsh are retained.

Obviously, this site is inclusive and nobody wants to discourage anyone from posting, but I really, really, really wish KathyC would stop coming here and acting as if we're all a bunch of emotional fanboys and/or fangirls upset about ONE game. This goes much deeper than one game. 

I get that she thinks she's smarter than everyone else -- can tell by the "Glad to clarify and update this for you" comment to Chris -- and I'm sure she has connections that we don't, but that doesn't change the fact that it's fairly obvious that this program is a mess and a change is needed. You don't have to be an "insider" to realize that. 

She really, really, really, really seems to enjoy talking down to people.

And you make it sound like that is going to continue.  They never learn.  The IU athletic department is the joke of the country.  When I speak to people familiar with other programs they can’t believe how our university is managed.  Incompetent beyond belief.
