I was only saying that it was futile to expect a firing in early December based on the panicky response from two lousy games in late November. Dolson is never going to do that and that really set a few people off into a rage. I get that people are upset because we played poorly and the program isn’t moving forward under Woodson, but it isn’t going to magically create a different response or result. Interesting to be attacked for saying what I know to be true, but that’s the nature of internet fan sites.

And it certainly isn't going to endear Mike Woodson to the fan base given his past 3+ years of incompetence. He won't recruit so they bought him a team. Same results... wonder what the commonality is?

I despise this argument as there is ONE person responsible for assembling the roster, and his name Mike Woodson.  If I did a half-@$$ job of assembling and coaching my team in the professional setting there would be repercussions...why is this different?

Probably that you didn't play there 40 years ago and aren't best buds with the chairman of the board.

You’ve said a lot more than that.  We all read your multitude of posts, some of which were pretty unhinged.  Not a good look.

Props to @KathywithaC, this was some world class trolling today...

I wonder if she, thyme, and Steuben have contributed the most to this thread. I thank them because I think we’ll surpass the “fire Tom Crean “ in no time?

Pretty early in the year to be on the coaching search train but yet here I am. Going to be a long one fellas.

edit: and ladies
Not from what we have seen. The expectation for this team were top 3 in the big ten and a sweet sixeteen minimum. They don't even look like top 7 in the big ten right now. If you going to spend 6 million on a team you better deliver.

If the "stakeholders" don't know what's going on with our team, they must not have any social media, newspapers, podcasts, tv or radio.    They must not leave their homes or talk to people. They obviously haven't watched good basketball to see how different they play from our team.

I mean…that would explain a lot about the last 25 years of IU basketball.

IU and every other school has stakeholders. It’s how universities work.

Not really. Alvarez exercised almost universal control over UW football. Of course, he built the thing and kept it near the top for about twenty more years. There are other examples, but they too are singularly successful people. I’m sure that is confusing, almost alien, to people within the IU administration, though.

Crean was no better than Woodson as a coach and he squandered far more talented teams than MW has been able to assemble.
R u insane! Seriously this is ridiculous. Crean coached circles around Woodson. He sucked but this is next level!

Don't forget AH, who has posted quite a bit here. He 's been pretty quiet since B4A started, though. I wonder why.

I wonder why?  Maybe he knows we have all been right all along and he’s been trying to wash the crow out of his mouth

I can promise you Dolson doesn’t share your view that they’re on the brink of disaster, or that a job change in early December is merited. You may disagree with his view, but no one at IU sees it as you do.

Let’s hop over to the FIRE DOLSON thread if true and get that humming. A team with this much talent and payroll should never be down by 38 points to a team coming off life support, period.
