Exactly all of this!  I have said it before, Woodson doesn’t have a system he runs or recruits to.  He just tries to recruit the best and highest ranked players as possible and just throws them on the court to play.  There are no offensive or defensive schemes that cater to the strength of their players and minimize their weaknesses.  God forbid, that would require to much work!

Zero surprise. When you "recruit" people for 2 seconds, you don't develop relationships. I get that all players are paid now, but when you get a roster of mercenaries, who are at IU due to $$$$, you're going to get the results that Woodson has.

I feel sorry for the Peegs people. Rabby has to keep things close to the vest and not lose his sources. A few of us on the free sites are allowed to post what we are hearing. The sad part is he usually tries to say we are not accurate but then days later everything comes true. He'll spin it that one part was off or something like that. Just reading over there right now and he is saying that crap. So we'll see what happens. I might send him a text this time when he is wrong.

If true, this is a massively bad move by Ferguson. 

I will say, though, that this shows the inherent danger of having a family member as an agent, though. Agents are like attorneys in this regard and shouldn't ever get caught up in the emotion of slights or take these kind of things personally when it comes to their client.

No one has to believe me, but I was here, I PM’d some with the sources folks around here, and if you’re around long enough and pay attention, it’s obvious who among us is 1) BSing, 2) not sourced but here for fun and opinion sharing, and/or 3) who actually knows things occasionally.

Woj is a notorious mouthpiece for NBA agents and front offices. Whomever he got his info for this story wanted the message to be that Stevens clearly had no interest.

This goes back to KathyC’s amazing process. If there was an amazing process in place we wouldn’t have allowed all these clowns in the room and probably would have vetted them and briefed them so shot like this wouldn’t happen.
