Teenage daughters too, they don't want to move for sure. I'd welcome him back to the staff with Stevens. Fife was ahead of my list compared to Woodson. Woodson wasn't on my list.

I didn't want Fife as a head coach but he has the right ideas about winning basketball.  I like him as an assistant and would welcome him back under the right leadership that preaches toughness.

Correct. Who cares about a certain person as an assistant. I could care less about any alum who played for IU. Get the best that the new coach wants and go. Choosing based on ties to IU got us into this mess

Gotta get the right guys with the right motives in the end.  Winning vs rostering wannabe pros isn't aligned.  Gotta find and create the pros and get the right superstars.  Duke is winning with top end youth.  It's harder but not impossible.  Michigan State is winning on defense and not 3 point shooting.  Lots of ways to win.  I enjoy what Alabama has going above about everyone else right now, but I enjoy winning above all else.  Get a coach with a winning system that can lead a command respect.  WE ARE SO DUE!

If the new coach would want Fife on staff I'm fine with that, I think he can coach defense. I wouldn't want him around but that's just because I don't care for him as a person. I have never interacted with him where I didn't walk away thinking Man that guy thinks a lot of himself. I thought it was just how he was in college, but he was the same when he came back to Bloomington. Might just be me.
