TEAM win.  That was the best part.  Nip and tuck all game and any time it looked like Michigan could pull away, IU answered.

We need more from our starting backcourt, period. Galloway isn't a lead guard and his shooting has vanished. Johnson wasn't playing great but at least provided depth.

Gunn could be a help but so often he's as much a liability as an asset. Hopefully seeing a couple 3s go down gives him a boost.

Still need more consistency from Mgbako but he's FTs were big down the stretch.

7-1 and 2-0 to start conference, can't really complain about that.

Agree but we didn't see him as any sort of liability last night. Let's see if he can build on it going forward. Needs to convert in transition, but that isn't a priority worry right now. 

I will say one thing about the Gunn situation... 1. I think CJ is damn tough mentally, struggles mightily for 1+ years with your shot, etc, at the college level, he has played himself out of mins even,  but here he is getting big time mins and making some huge plays on the road. Don't forget the steal he had in the first half that led to the Banks dunk. 2. Our coaching staff won't bail on you, if you are willing to trust them.  

Powerful. Sports are hard.. if we get THAT CJG the rest of the year, look out!

Cupps played well handling the ball as a freshman on the road

Ware is gonna be missed next year 

Gunn is probably our best on the ball defender

Sure,  it’s still too early in the season for KenPom to really kick in, but it still looks a little funny to see 4-5 Michigan coming off a home loss at #54 and 7-1 Indiana off a road win at #65.

This team hasn't looked great, but they keep finding ways to win, at least so far. There's a lot to be said for that.

Going to watch the game again, so I can see things that I may have missed. What a back and forth, keep my heart pounding, fun game to watch last night. My only gripe is that the wife fell asleep next to me so there was no celebrations or cursing from me, just the silent fist pump! Go Hoosiers, keep finding ways to win!

I assume if we score 2 more points against UL, 1 more against Wright St, 2 more against Army..... our kenpom would look more positively? 

That's 5 points, but would turn 3 of those Ws into 10pt+ wins?

That's not my point. I'm not defending the post guys. I'm, reluctantly because I love Cupps, saying Cupps sucked defensively. I think that's where our disconnect is.

The guy Cupps was guarding came in averaging 19 PPG and went 3-14 with 2 assists. He couldn't have been that bad...

Of course they did. Iu is cursed in the fact whoever we play is usually coming off a loss so there ready lol. If we beat a team they usually tank ti make our win insignificant

I don't know if I'd go that far, but I'd definitely have some starters on the floor when he's in. Maybe it'll take some pressure off so he doesn't try to do too much.
