Rudy would have entered the portal if he played today. There’s nothing preventing the entire team from returning.

He won 4 bowl games in 4 years at Texas and had a winning record there. I'd be okay with that. His record before FAU was 54-22 with 6 bowl appearances.

For a coach with such a strong offensive pedigree, his ability to put points on the board at FAU was a bit concerning .  The Owls had four games where his team put up 10 or less points - not great.

I'd argue he under-performed at UT.
