They are compared to others.   The facility wars started after cook hall was built.   Bad timing for IU and cook hall really can’t be updated to catch up they would have to start new again and I doubt higher ups want to do that.   IU might be top 3 in the B1G behind Nebraska and Sparty but it’s not close to being in the top 10 nationally.   Doesn’t mean IU can’t win without upgrading but wouldn’t hurt

You can thank Archie for finally convincing them to upgrade that so they are only a couple years behind everyone else instead of 30 years behind the times.   Still lots more to do.    Weight room in cook hall is small compared to the newer facilities.  Not much room to make bigger without starting over and since it took IU a long time to update locker rooms I wouldn’t hold my breath anything gets done

Ya know... Speaking of the locker room... I legit wouldn't mind going Crimson, white and cream. Do all 3. Use just a dark enough cream shade to have the contrast between the 3. Same in the locker room... That'd be awesome. And Cream colored alternate to go with.

I really hope they can unlock the ability and athleticism that make Ware unique. If so, he’s a potentially frontcourt special pairing with Reneau. I love Malik’s offensive skill set and think some pick-and-pop and trail shooting can be a part of his repertoire, but I was concerned when the bigs on the transfer radar didn’t seem to bring much floor spacing. Of course, that’s hard to find WITH rim protection too…
