Pretty nice 1st outing for Kel’el in a beatdown loss to Golden State. 12pts 6rebs 5blks and other than taking a couple of bad early 3’s he was very solid. Kind of doubt Ware will put up particularly good summer league numbers because the Heat’s guards are bad, but he was exactly what you’re drafting him for. Imagine the Heat brass were pleased.

Kel’el with a really good game today in a win over Sacramento. 26 and 11 and Sac had no matchup for him so he just punished them in the paint. Very nice.

I have a lot of respect for Ware. He had a bad freshman year and came to IU and did the work. I think is just beginning to grow into how good he can be. He has all tools to be a great NBA player.

Where was that over the last 3 years like Stuhoo kept predicting? I don’t wish injury on folks, but man Indiana would have benefitted by Edy not being available 100% of the time of Purdue for his career.

HH had a good interview with him this week. You have to fast forward way way ahead to get past some conversations they had while stuck I’m traffic but once you find it, I felt it was worth it.
