You have to assume this is Race’s matchup or at least who will be guarding Race.  
 

Huge mismatch both ways. Same when Reneau is in the game. Can we punish them down low more than we give up at the other end? 
 

TJD is going to be such a problem for them, you might wonder if Woody would be tempted to go small with Kopp at the 4 or more time for Banks/Geronimo. We rarely ever do that, though.   
 

Big test for our perimeter defense. It’s games like this I wish we had a token zone to throw out there.

It seems like they think it’s just TJD and we have horrible defense (referencing Iowa game).

I mean…we have an average defense. But we have been absolutely run ragged by all the good offenses we’ve played. The one exception is Purdue who play at a snails pace.   
 

Miami is very much like Iowa and Penn State who we’ve given up about an average of 80 pts to over 4 games. We did nothing to stop Arizonas or Kansas’s offense either.   
 

With a fully healthy team we won by 2 against Xavier but we still gave up 79pts.   
 

Statistically we’re very unlikely to stop this Miami team, so I’m not sure if they’re being unrealistic. Vegas doesn’t think we’ll hold them under 70. Look at the o/u.   
 

We need a total team effort on offense like we had versus Xavier, most likely. JHS needs to be the best guard on the floor.

Everybody has to be ready to catch a pass and TJD needs to be ready to make quick decisions with the ball. 100% guarantee they'll be doubling and tripling TJD and I wouldn't doubt it if they doubled Race and Reneau in the paint. Our guards are going to have to finally step up as an entire package.

Spero Dedes, Debbie Antonelli, and A.J. Ross will be on the call for the round of 32 matchup between Indiana and Miami on Sunday at 8:40 pm EST (TNT).

Spero seems like a nice guy and all, but it feels like punishment that IU & Colts fans are relegated to listening to him game after game.
