You don't get to hold all those other years against THIS team though. Period, you don't. We didn't fall apart last year... hell we got better. Substantially better by the end of the season. 

I think some aren't realizing how bleak our outlook was in CAM's last season. Think about.... Armaan was leaving, same with Durham... TJD could have.... Lander and Phin were our PGs-- No Miller, No XJ, No JHS (he wasn't committed is what I'm saying), no Reneau in the fold. No Cupps, No Newton. No visits from basically every kid at Montverde. 

You all are flat-out not willing to admit how truly poor of a situation Woodson inherited. Then... in year 2 we are a legitimate top-20 team until 2 starters go down. Hell, we HANDLED UNC.. and beat a darn good XU team on the road. Don't act like we haven't seen this team be VERY good, we have. 

If this happened in year 7... yeah, that is an issue.

You’re the moderator as are others and we come and post here. Honestly what does hearing or knowing that there is negativity going on on Twitter or the Purdue board serve to make BTNBanners better?

Mods should always call posters out who can't behave/post with some sort of decency and point. Having to read 100000+ posts a day that give nothing but bitching and complaining as the general point to them, gets annoying. Going over to complain on a PU, as an alleged IU fan, and calling our players pansies is about as low as it gets. If it's that personal for someone, they need to take a step back and re-examine their life.

If you've actually reached the point where you're going to a rival team's board to complain about how much you hate your own team, it might be time to give yourself a break and just stay off the Internet for awhile. Seriously.

I see your point.

But I also post as an IU fan, as all mods do. And as an IU fan it pisses me off when someone goes to the Purdue board to call our team "a bunch of pansies."  And I'm allowed to say so.

Being mod is an unpaid thing we do as fans who want a solid board and take time to (hopefully) make this a good place for IU fans, both for positive and negative takes. But I'm still allowed to have an opinion.

 I won't continue a back and forth on this (you are welcome to respond). And then, back to our regularly scheduled program.

Should those of us who aren’t on Twitter or read and post on Purdue’s free board be also be subjected to the posts on those forums?

LCS can make an account and post forums all he wants for all I care. I’ve yet to see a BTNBanner rule about where we have accounts and post content.

On BTNBanners there’s always a hide or mute button and there’s always the option to start your own chat with like minded individuals who agree with everythings been said.

I come here to listen to IU fans talk shop whether I agree or not. Start winning and the negativity you all are focusing on will become just white noise

I am glad, as a btownbanner member, that Stuhoo brought that to my attention that we have members here making posts like that on other forums. It gives me a reference point.

I don't go there to talk crap. But if it comes up, I'm not going to push sunshine and rainbows everywhere. I'm just consistent. Though I have had to correct them on the Fife/Matta stuff and make them realize Indiana is a better 3pt shooting team right now.
