It's quiet because he's in decision mode so nothing is really changing looking from the outside. Coaches can't visit him so it's just waiting for the announcement, which might be as early as tomorrow.

Agree. I just really feel cautiously optimistic where this program is heading. I would love to get Boogie as much as anyone, but I know Gabe will have a year under his belt. If we land Liam today and Boogie soon, then we are officially a player at the table again!

Time to start worrying? Sure, IU landed McNeeley but that was a whole hour ago and Fland still hasn't committed. Let's face it, Woodson has lost it and can't recruit. Who has he landed in the last hour since McNeeley? No one!

I wonder what happened in September? 247 slashed his rating by 5 points in less than a week. On 9/7 they had him at a 98 rating and then on 9/13 they dropped the rating to 93 which is also his lowest. This after he played well over the summer. Seems like a mistake to me. Makes them look clueless. That's why I prefer the composite. More importantly is who is recruiting him hard. I think those coaches know better than 247.

He was injured and played through it and didn’t play well.   He played terrible in front of Woody and at the time Woody wasn’t all in.   Luckily staff stayed on him and he got healthy and started playing like a beast.   Woody and IU went all in.  My guess is his 247 rating will go back up.    They National guys explained their reasoning on the  247 sites

I don’t find it weird as he was injured and if other guys played well I could understand them moving up. I could be wrong but have never understood the narrative that recruit ratings are changed to drive clicks.  How does changing Boogies ranking drive clicks? I don’t buy that the guys rating players intentionally wrongly rank guys in order to increase eyeballs.

In any case. We need a guard and he looks like he would be a great addition. Hope we get him.

@Uspshoosier explains above, they saw him play and he wasn't playing well due to injury. 5 rating points seems to be a pretty steep drop considering all the other times he's been playing well.

Yes, I got that and It does seem pretty steep but maybe other guys were playing well. It really doesn’t matter as they still have him as the 3rd best combo guard in the country, which isn’t shabby, and he will probably move up as he Is healthy again. In any case, he’d be a great addition and I hope we get him.

From what I have read on other sites, Boogie dropped due to the injury, plus, he was playing out of position for most of the AAU season,  Again, just what I read as I didnt follow much summer ball.
