The problem is though teams won't schedule the "tough" games with fewer games to play. They'll just keep the "cupcakes" and eliminate the 3 or 4 "tough games". Otherwise I'd agree with your idea.

This is where I am as well.  For the most part if you are in a Power Conference you will have a solid SOS and just need to stack wins to 19-21, depending on the season.

My biggest concern is the impact this approach may have to the premier OOC tournaments, e.g. Maui, Atlantis, etc.  The challenges and tournaments are one of my favorite parts of the holiday season (don't tell my family!)

I would think a simple directive by the conference could eliminate that.
I don't know, to what extent, how much the conference can dictate programs' schedules. But even if they can do that I'm not sure they would. The conference wants as many of their teams in the tournament as po$$ible. They need wins more than SOS at that point.

Didn't we have something last year for Bill? I know I am remembering something.

Could be thinking of when we named the Fieldhouse for him a couple years ago. I think they also did something for him one of the last few years when we wore BHM uniforms in February?

Not really sure where to put this but fiancé and I are moving to Noblesville this weekend. Is there a bar or restaurant in noblesville or fishers where a lot of people gather for IU games or would going downtown to Kilroys be the best bet?

We ate at Outlaws before a concert about a month ago, and the bartender said they have a pretty decent showing for IU games. Great food and atmosphere.

Way too young.

From what I can find, it looks like a car accident. I won't link the site I saw because it won't let me read without allowing notifications on my phone so it's pretty scummy.
