Alex with some comments from Pro Day. Apparently, Ware didn’t participate with a shoulder. 

Sparks is going to be a lot of fun to watch - so much effort and energy in his game.

In a rambunctious Assembly Hall party atmosphere IU men’s basketball team will probably be a middle seed in March Madness 2024 by finishing in the middle of the big ten pack and winning a game or two in big ten tournament and a game or two in March Madness.

On Bako -- shooting can't be overrated in the NBA, every team wants a player with size and length who can drill shots, the comment on worry about his athleticims? Meh

From an NBA perspective his athleticism might be a hindrance, but at IU?

Too much to say that CJ Gunn is one of the two or three biggest keys to our season?

Because everyone else is either a proven commodity or has an alternate option for their role. Not so with CJ Gunn.

I watched the video, and Woody was basically saying that given their place on the depth chart, Gunn and Banks are going to have to grow up in a hurry.

CJ could really benefit from having a good start to the year.  Confidence seems to be key for him and getting a positive start could really help launch him but a poor start could really derail him.  Sure am hoping for a hot start to the year.

I also liked it yesterday when Woody was asked about Payton Sparks and said he didn't bring Payton here to play big minutes. To me that means KelEl is showing out enough in practice.

His offensive numbers weren't great last year but he was still a rim protector so I think at very least that is what IU gets this year. 1.3 blocks in less than 16 minutes per game. That works out to about 3.3 blocks per 40 minutes. That's pretty close to what TJD averaged last year. 

Now if he can get the offense going too? Especially if Mgbako is as good as advertised, Reneau makes a jump, and Galloway and Johnson don't have a drop off from past performances? Watch out.

Such a high ceiling for this team but also lots of questions, especially about the bench. It might take some time before it all meshes but they could really be hard to beat by the end of the season.
