Yup, it just dings the class of ‘22 kids who didn’t get the Covid year and now aren’t getting the 5th year of the 5 in 5. But I’m sure the lawsuit is coming on behalf of those kids, too.

Had not thought about the ‘22 class missing both of these. Have to agree on the lawsuit coming.

Which Michigan kids want out?  
 

Dusty has quite the war chest assembled and most kids probably already signed a contract meaning Michigan can’t boot them, I think. So a kid would have to likely want to leave and find a place with an open spot and enough money to match Michigans offer.

Don’t like this clip much. He can’t be pounding the ball shoulder high on the block. Got to get him out of that habit. They need a manager or a GA digging at the ball every time he makes a move.

I still feel like we're missing a depth big man. After Yigitoglu and Sherrell we don't have another player who can play the 5 if foul trouble or injuries occur. Sokolov isn't even on campus and being a freshman I can't imagine him seeing any serious pt this year and if he does we're probably in big trouble. I know we weren't adding any proven production at that spot but just someone with size and experience at the D1 level would've been what we needed there. Or heck someone with size and experience at the D2 or NAIA level would've been nice. Leaving a scholarship open just seems really dumb to me, especially after how we suffered from lack of depth last season.

I like to see that. He probably needs to be more of a facilitator than scorer on this team.

He's always gotten where he wants with the ball; he's never been a willing distributor. 

So we will see.

What I liked reading was the comment that in the 5 on 5 with all scholarship players on the court, he repeatedly broke down the D with paint touches and “in most of those situations he got assists”
