Home Jersey Posted September 21, 2025 Posted September 21, 2025 One has nothing to do with the other really, but the fact Dolson hit a grand slam home run with the football hire makes me optimistic/hopeful that he's done the same with basketball this time around. Not too much longer now til we see them in action with our own eyes. Pagoda, HoosierHoopster, thebigweave and 1 other 4 Quote

I am optimistic This would mean that Scott Dolson knows what the heck he’s doing, has a plan, has a ‘type’ of coach that he wants, and now has been given license to hire AND pay to retain as he sees fit. Cig, Moren, Yeagley, and now Devries. I think that is absolutely true, and I am also optimistic. thebigweave, Jeff Flabjohns, eddy4iu and 6 others 8 1 Quote

RoadRage Posted September 26, 2025 Posted September 26, 2025 Our team is either being terrible underrated or we are not going to be that good this season....at least according to the so called experts! ALASKA HOOSIER, Jeff Flabjohns and thebigweave 3 Quote

The nice thing compared to last year is our schedule should give us a pretty decent indication early on of what we're working with. Obviously you hope to see improvement as the year goes on too. Last year in non-con, the only P5 teams we played were SCAR, who sucked, and the B4A teams where we got our doors blown off by everyone but a cruddy Providence team missing their best player if memory serves. This year we will play Marquette and Kansas State + scrimmage Baylor by the same time B4A started last year. 31 days til Baylor. 45 days til Marquette. Ready for IU basketball. thebigweave, ALASKA HOOSIER and HoosierHoopster 3 Quote
