No, there are worse things; he didn't murder someone or run over a teammate.  I'm not going to act like it's a run of the mill speeding ticket or not as bad as breaking curfew though, because it is worse than that especially being his second incident that we know of.  2nd strike should require a harsher punishment, I'm crazy like that.

I wouldn't want my son to play for a coach that would look at this and say just run a little or shoot extra free throws when the same player had already been suspended.

Agreed! And I would guess that the consequences may be painful, even if we don’t see them publicly.

Anyone remember when Dane Fife was arrested? But we want him to be our coach. I don’t remember him being kicked off. Neither was Pat Knight, Tom Coverdale or anyone else. Now driving 90 on Walnut at 3am is dumb as it gets. Might as well have neon lights flashing saying Idiot driving. But I don’t think he’ll be dismissed.

I hope he is not, I would be disappointed in Woodson. X is a talent that needs some parenting/coaching/help maturing.

the world is coming fast for him and he is either going to sink or swim and he needs a man in his life like Woodson to take him under his wing.

there are ways for Woodson to get through to him and help him mature. He seems to have some emotional maturity issues and he needs to work through them quickly before he enters the real world

Very well said. He definitely has some emotional maturity issues.

Yeah Sherron Wilkerson too but in his case he put his hands on a woman. Yeah he did but I just don’t think this warrants it IMO

For me it is just not this one thing but his earlier suspension as well. Also I would bet that day in Chicago when they were suspended wasn't the first time any of those players were caught breaking rules.  Usually you don't get suspended on your first offense so that could be taken into account as well

People make it like that XJ came from a broken family and had no parental guidance.  Both of his parents were around and our retired military people do I think he probably had structure in his life.

People **** up, but when you get caught, you got to man up and accept it!  The running and switching seats is the thing that really iirks me!  Especially since he was already slapped on the wrist earlier!

That kid that was willing to switch seats with him has a screw loose too. I respect the willingness to go to bat for your friend but damn, that kid could have eaten a real **** sandwich

I would've told XJ to eff off. "Dumbass, why didn't you get an UBER?"

I love my friends and would go to great lengths to support them but if my asks me to switch seats with him and take on his entire responsibility for something that was avoidable I am saying no all day every day

I also wouldn't be in the passenger seat if I knew they couldn't drive or accept responsibility!

I’ve heard that “kid” was Parker Stewart.  Unconfirmed.
