kreigh8 Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 Race has not been good at all in several straight games. So disappointing as he usually provides that toughness, but he's been off. Sick I guess in Dayton, but looks the same tonight WayneFleekHoosier, pumpfake and theriverpilot 3 Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 Solid point on the first four. Time to end it always being in Dayton. Have it at the sites where the teams are going to feed into. Get rid of traveling across the country. southsidehoosier, thebigweave, FloridaHoosierGirl and 1 other 4 Quote

We're just getting beat need to ramp it up first 5 of second half and then settle in. iubb Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 Guess tired doesn’t exist last week when they packed for 4 days. NCAA dance is less meaningful I suppose. Packing doesn’t mean anything when you have to switch planes because someone At the NCAA failed math, which causes you to land at the crack of dawn. It’s obvious. It's as much a mental gassed as physical gassed. How many rebounds did we give up when we had the numbers and our players just stood there? This goes back to a trend. We played hard for a few days in Indy and thought that was enough. thebigweave 1 Quote
coonhounds Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 We're more mentally tired imo because of st marys play. Come out second half a fight back you will see energy increase if that happens. I don't believe we're physically tired however iu alway seems to be sent to the farthest reaches of the earth for ncaa tournament Sent from my SM-A326U using Tapatalk HoosierAloha 1 Quote

Five Prime Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 They are experienced and disciplined but not all that athletic outside of Johnson. I guess I'd classify good differently than others on here. They are an average ncaa tourney team imo. pumpfake 1 Quote
Trish Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 Maybe our AD should’ve spent more money on a seperate plane for the players the other night. Quote
HoosierAloha Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 Not even a half to bust out the excuses. I'm glad we don't have people on here that actually had to travel and do work that really mattered. Goodness. Dave from Dayton and southsidehoosier 2 Quote
RoadRage Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 The Marys are full of confidence...it is going to take a nearly perfect half of basketball to pull this one out! HoosierAloha 1 Quote

The original play-in game was only in Dayton in cuz that's where the overall #1 seed that year was selected to go. I wonder how much if any UD or the city of Dayton pays to keep that spot every year. Blackmon_for_3 Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 I figured this silver lining in losing to Iowa was the extra day of rest. I guess that wasn’t the case. Quote

The gap between conference levels has closed immensely. There are good players everywhere. The WCC has 3 tournament teams this year with BYU and Santa Clara on the bubble. Not exactly a terrible conference that I've heard far too often today Quote

They can be beat by average teams. You saw they’re offense stall out for 35min today against a bad team . I like Gonzaga, but they’re not the best team in the country this year RaceToTheTop 1 Quote
RoadRage Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 Kopp isn't even looking for his shot....this guy needs to get his confidence back, a couple of threes from him to start this half would be huge! Quote
