I'm a little surprised how many people are shocked and angry over this. 4 days ago, we were NIT bound. We had a terrible non-conference schedule and won less than half of our conference games. Lunardi and others may have projected us to be higher, but those guys aren't the ones actually picking the teams. I think we landed where we deserved to be.

You think Michigan deserves to be an 11 seed playing in Indianapolis @ 17-14….. after we beat them on a neutral court in conference tourney?

Honestly I won't have Purdue in the Sweet 16.

They got a tough draw imo, I wouldn't be too thrilled with their road if i was them.

Kentucky has a ridiculously easy road to the FF

They played a much, much tougher schedule than we did and kicked our ***** the first time.

People are letting the past few days cloud their vision. 20-13, 9-11 has bubble team written all over it.

Way, way tougher than I expected them to get. Chris Beard has had their number in the postseason, too.

Okay...you've made your point.  Let guys vent.

I actually thought Davidson losing helped us....looks like it hurt us! I wonder if having the NCAA in Indianapolis actually hurts us because they don't want people to think Indiana teams are getting preferential treatment!

Strength of schedule is figured into NET, kenpom, etc…

I’m not sure how it could be that big a deal independently.

I guess anything could be looked at when you start splitting hairs between Dayton and last four byes.

noncon SOS, losing conference record, etc. was probably the difference

Edit: we also had a relative easy conference schedule

Beyond the automatic bid do conference tournaments even impact seeding much. Tennessee as a 3 and Iowa as a 5 seem odd

Not ones that finish on sundays

The last 2 few days matter. We avenged the loss to Michigan and Illinois very recently. They got their ***** kicked by good teams in and out of the B1G. They shouldn’t have gotten a locked in seed with no play in game. Period. Every pundit in America had Michigan either out or a last 4 in.
