pumpfake Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 I thought the Matta/Eels connection and that TM was at the game when May broke his arm in 75 was kind of cool. CSP and 323SGrant 2 Quote
Trish Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 Press conference was solid. We'll finally find out if an Indiana guy can really save Indiana Basketball or if this program is truly dead. His staff will tell a lot about his confidence in recruiting. Players currently in the portal staying in the portal and leaving will tell a lot as well honestly. ALASKA HOOSIER and BadgerVol 2 Quote

There was nothing that was 4 out about the offense this past season. Even if you're going to argue that the offense "looked 41-ish," (hit or miss on when I'd agree with that), we weren't executing with any motion at all. We were mostly just standing around. Don't sit here and tell me we didn't run it at all this year. When our offense collapsed and we went small with subs, it was 4-out. Quote
Trish Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 Interesting. Hoosier Sports Nation hates the hire while this site tends to love the hire. Difference in ages perhaps? Anyone been to Peegs? How are they reacting lol Dave from Dayton 1 Quote

LamarCheeks Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 Hypotheticals are unavoidable, so here's one ... I think I recall reading that Chris Reynolds said he wasn't necessarily a fan of the Archie hire. I wonder -- had he gotten the AD job instead of Dolson, who would he have picked? Quote

Bowhunter Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 I think Coach Wood said, “We are going to shoot 3s and a whole lot of them !” Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote
Hoosierfan2017 Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 My favorite part of the press conference was him talking about his 6th grade teacher helping him go to Bob Knight’s basketball camp. High school kids might not know the name Mike Woodson, but he’ll be able to go into any living room in the country and relate to the kids he’s talking to. For many recruits, his story growing up is their story too. IUc2016, Dave from Dayton, Blackmon_for_3 and 3 others 6 Quote

If he says he's looking for players that can shoot from deep, you compare him to Archie and cry "fraud." If he didn't say that you'd compare him to Archie and say "another coach that doesn't value shooters." It's getting really old. HinnyHoosier, Hovadipo, BtownStrength and 10 others 10 3 Quote
